Since it’s opening in July 2000, Central Valley Occupational Medical Group, Inc.
(CVO) has become the premier occupational health facility in Kern County.
Established by occupational medicine specialist Michael E. Davies, M.D., CVO
provides the most complete comprehensive occupational and rehabilitation
services under one roof. At CVO, we specialize only in occupational medicine --
not urgent care or family practice -- allowing us to give our full professional
attention to our client’s industrial needs.

Our facility is centrally located at 4100 Truxtun
Avenue, Suite 200 in Bakersfield, California. Office
hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday. For our clients’ convenience we offer
24-hour treatment of on-the-job injury/illness
seven days a week. After hours, weekends, and
holidays, we have a medical provider on-call to
treat our client’s employees in our facility within
30 minutes of notification. This alleviates waiting
in emergency rooms or urgent care centers and
provides considerable cost savings to employees.

With more than 10,000 square feet of space and a staff of 30+ employees, we
are able to provide expedient and efficient care to our clients. Over our
twelve-year history, we have had the pleasure of serving a wide variety of
industries in the Kern County area including petroleum, agriculture, government
municipalities, and service industries such as hotels and restaurants. By
maintaining a professional relationship and an open line of communication with
our clients, we now have the pleasure of serving over 500 employers, covering
nearly 100,000 employees.
